THE HOME OF STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
George St Gym was born from a passion for the 'sweet science' of boxing and the hard core science of exercise physiology and strength and conditioning. With an experienced and diverse team at the healm, GSG is equipped to offer unparalleled evidence-based fitness programs accessible to all abilities, across sporting disciplines.
We pride ourselves on community, inclusivity, and keeping it ego-free. No franchises here, just the good stuff. Whether you're looking to join our competitive boxing team or simply wanting to get stronger and faster, we have a program for you. With highly trained group exercise coaches, personal trainers, and exercise physiologists, no member is too tricky!
MEET THE
GSG TEAM
With unmatched professionalism and care, we will support you to reach your fitness goals.
After joining GSG in 2021, Mariah has worked to create a space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients where they are culturally safe and feel at home, as part of one big family/community.
As one of the few Aboriginal Exercise Scientists within Australia, Mariah aspires to be a role model for her people.
Alex has played football (soccer) his entire life, playing within the state domestic leagues and training experience with European clubs. Away from team sports, Alex’s coaching background of CrossFit elevated his passion and love for strength and conditioning.
In addition to group fitness classes, Alex’s passion extends to clinical work, working with clients to achieve their best quality of life through exercise management and rehabilitation.
Alex completed his degrees through Western Sydney and Charles Sturt Universities, moved to Adelaide in 2022 and currently completing his Food Science and Nutrition degree with UniSA.
Chelsea has represented Australia at the Softball Asia Pacific Cup, World Cup, and has played professionally in the USA. She currently plays state-level softball and is the A Grade Captain for the Walkerville Softball Club.
I have been working in childcare for six years and have been the business owner of Little Lion Cubs Nanny Service for over a year. I have my diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care along with all the necessary documents and certificates. I look forward to seeing you and your little ones at the gym!
